Don is always looking for innovative solutions to increase efficiency in all areas of our business and installed some new solar panels on Friday the 15th of January.

Over the first week - We were producing 6 - 17kW per day and that included some very overcast days as you may see from the photo.

After a month - We were averaging around 11kW per day. Our estimate from this is that we are saving about $80 off the power bill this month.

It is now almost 2 months since installation and we are still averaging about 11kW per day and have produced over 600kW in total. We estimate this is a savings of about $136.

It feels good to be more environmentally friendly.

We were looking forward to some lower power bills but it seems that we have also been a lot busier (also a good thing) and our power bill hasn't dropped. However we know that the solar panels are having a positive impact on the amount we are using and paying for.
